If you have been told you've been nominated for an award, are you allowed to talk about it right away, or are you supposed to wait until it's officially announced?

I think this got unequivocally answered, when Mike Allen (former president of the SFPA, who runs the award) made his own announcement of nomination. I figure he should know.
And so..... I am thrilled to say that I have been nominated for a Rhysling Award, for my poem Clotho Visits the Local Yarn Store[/URL]!!
(I bet this is the first poem ever published in a knitting magazine to be nominated.
