I want it. Like... now. Seriously though... if I were to see this in a book store, I'd pick it up and buy without leafing through or reading the back cover. I'm one of those weirdos though, that if something tickles my fancy, I'll think about it till I know what's up. Doesn't matter what the blurb on the back says... that image would make me go nuts. It has already.

..This is so 'right on'. As the picture began to scroll open.....whoa! Just this cover alone will draw in your readers. I agree....this needs to have another plain brown paper cover or you keep all the lights on while reading.

Effie - it comes out this June in the UK. This is the US cover, and it'll come out here around that time, also.

I'd buy this on the cover alone...
then make sure it stayed face down so it didn't scare the @#$% out of me when I passed it.
Also might have to leave it downstairs lest I feel it looking at me in the middle of the night from my bedroom nightstand....

That's awesome artwork! Now, Dave, didn't I tell you that book was gonna sell? I'm gloating--I knew, knew I was right!!! Congrats on a superb job. Can't wait to get one.
