Seeking experienced Beta Reader for either a general sense of the work or a line-by-line, whatever you are comfortable with. Historical fantasy. Plot Summary:
In 1588, Edward Seymour, ex-agent of Queen Elizabeth’s secret service, leads Anglican faction, the Owls in stealing the Turin Shroud to prevent a rival faction from using its powers to overthrow Her Majesty. When his partners suddenly freeze him out, he’s forced to reactivate his old spy network and begin digging into their secret history with the Shroud to learn if it’s they who represent the true threat. He discovers that each faction has been led to believe the other and him conspiring against it by mutual enemy Ordensstaat, a pagan cult infiltrating England and moving against the Queen.
Very minor language, some violence
