Who are your favourite characters in your WIP(s) at this very moment and why?

Mirror, Mirror

Low - because he writes beautiful songs and he's so sweet and caring. He's like a knight in shining armor.

Ellis - because he isn't afraid to show his emotions. He can be serious and smexy all at the same time.

Playing the Field

Darcy - She's my MC and she's tough and she has problems and she sticks up for what she believes in.

Marnie - She makes me laugh and she's a rebel. I love rebels.

Serenity: She's tough and takes no prisoners.

The Possession-

Collette: She's bossy but caring.
Carrie: So carefree and happy. I wish I had her attitude a lot of the times.
Luigi: He's mysterious.

Maddy - because she kills people for a living and keeps this fact a secret from her best friend, Audrey, who she loves very much

Audrey - because she's such a great friend and someone with a big heart, always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, and help them

Giaan - because he has a dark, dark family history which his friends don't know about, and said history is about to blow up wide open

Blue Abyss-

Cassandra: A minor character that my MC, Holly, works with. She's goth, snarky, somewhat disturbing, but unlike anyone I know. I could write a whole story about her

Brady: Holly's love interest. He's beautiful and sweet, kind, and protective to Holly, even with her reluctance to love him. And he is madly in love with Holly

Fireflies: Fiona, actually. Usually it's not the MC, but in this case, I still love her and her weird way of thinking. Troy's a close second.

TiaFoM: Trouble. Who doesn't love Trouble?

LS: Eric. I adore Eric. Even with my fight to keep Logan, I still love Eric.

Gosh...this is like a mother trying to decide who her favorite child is. I really can't decide. But I'll explain why I love all of them, because I'm that nice.

Collins - I like him because he's strict and stubborn, but yet has a soft side to him, especially with Camille.

Camille- I find her to be a lot like me. I think that's because the stor is in her point of view and when I'm reading through, I see the story play out through my own eyes, not as if I'm watching it.

Brady - He's hilarious. I like coming up with his little one-liners because he is so entertaining. He is so obnoxious, especially to Camille. It's funny watching them go back and forth at each other.

Sean - He is kind of a geek, but I love him. Originally Sean wasn't even supposed to be in it, but I figured that someone besides Collins had to put up with Brady and Camille.

Vanessa - she's such a cutesy little southern belle. And it's funny because she's actually a vegetarian, but she works as a coroner. So you'd figure death would be a big issue with her.

Raven - He's my personal jab at the vampire fetish. Think Spike, only add 5 guns and make him even more annoying. Like, to the point where his good looks aren't even enough to get women to do what he wants. Oh yes, and he also sounds like Ace Ventura when he talks - and I'm strongly considering giving him the same haircut, and ripping this scene without shame.

Jeremy -- A lost werewolf that always fights for others and is often blindly optimistic

And Ringo -- Named after Ringo Starr. He's a dragon who wants to be a famous drummer.

I love this.

Will and Zoe: because they're two dang messed up kids who try so freaking hard to be free from their pasts, but life just keeps dealing them the sh*ttiest of hands. My heart aches for them.

LIKA - because she's ageless and all powerful on the surface, but underneath she's vulnerable and bored.

RYAN - because he's happy-go-lucky and just so damn positive. (I love people like this in real life too!)

And, of course, my mains:

KEELIE and ASPEN - I guess because they don't fall in love at first sight. It takes them awhile

A couple of supporting characters in Partings and Greetings basically stole every scene they were in, and they ended up doing more in the novel than I intended at first. One of them has the same first name as a regular poster here (with her permission).

BREAK--Jesse, as I think anyone who's read the book can tell. I like his spunk. And I always go for jocks.

INVINCIBLE SUMMER--Chase, the MC. His little brother Gideon is a close second. Chase is one of the most intelligent characters I've ever written, and Gideon's just adorable.

THE ANIMALS WERE GONE--Lio, one of the two main characters. He's a little bit punk rock, hesitant to talk but very honest, a survivor of childhood leukemia, a twinless twin, and way more open to love than any fifteen year old has any right to be.

I don't like to play favorites, but I'm quite fond of this German kid I'm calling "Simon." Originally I was planning to kill him off, but he's proved to be much tougher and cleverer than I anticipated. I love characters who surprise me.

Spheres; Ethan, because he's a nice guy with a dark past and he's forever tortured by it, but it's not a depressed character LOL.

Human Flesh: Danica, she started as a character in a Role Playing site, and I have to admit that I've not been very nice to her, but in the HF story, she's amazing. She's very strong and tries to do the right thing, even when it hurts her.

Caleb; my fallen angel in Human Flesh, because even though he's been changed from a Soldier Angel, to a Guardian Angel, to Fallen, he's not lost his faith, and hopes that he will one day return home.

Shanna Bailey, the main character in my Reality Shift series, is my favorite at the moment. She's been through a lot of horrible stuff, and starts the series with a very low opinion of herself, but she's strong enough to learn, grow, and change her situation.

And here it is! The kicker! Grimace is my favorite character from Grimace. Even though he is a magical creature he has such a real personality and real expectations. He tries to be good and to do the right thing but sometimes he comes off as self righteous. He is so caught up in taking care of business that he always forgets what he really wants in life.
