After the Blackest Night comes the Brighest Day

I've been following the Blackest Night Arc in DC since this summer, and so far every story has been really interesting and intriguing especially the Green Lantern storylines. Well my friend gave me link today saying that after this arc is over there will be a 26 bi weekly issue run of Brightest Night, the aftermath of Blackest Night. I'm pumped for it!

Does anyone else follow this and what are you thoughts on the upcoming arc?

I was only dabbling - i.e. if a book I was already reading crossed into Blackest Night, then I read it, otherwise I stayed away. I'm pretty burnt out on massive crossovers, though I know a lot of people got into this one. The thing I'm most excited about is that with Brightest Day, DC is bringing back Birds of Prey, written by Gail Simone (unfortunately penciled by Ed Benes, but beggars can't be choosers I guess). It's unclear if it will be limited to the 26 issues or ongoing...I suppose it depends on sales...?

This is my first massive cross over experience. Part 1 of Blackest Night cross over issues were pretty good but by the last leg of the Part 2 I'm starting to think if I should knock a lot of issues off my sub list. I love Gail Simone, her work on Wonder Woman is fantastic. I do hope that they keep this limited to 26 issues though because I have other comics that I want to start getting into and for the most part I can't because the majority of my comic fund goes into blackest night.
