Could someone tell me what tab I need to look in to find the option that emails comment notices to me?

Go to Settings. Go to Comments. Scrooollll down to the bottom item on the Comments page. There is a box for email notification. Put your email in the box and you will receive and email whenever someone comments on a post. Save settings. And done.
