Sorry, Heather. The chapeau is mine, all mine. Bwahahahaha.

I don't understand this modern Craig's list stuff so I'll write a poem instead:

Roses are red;
Violets are blue.
I wrote nine-hundred words.
How about you?

Thenkyewverramuch.
Good word count, Haggie-Poo (and that even rhymes with your rhyme...check ME out! LOL).
:Clap::Clap::Clap:

Giving you at least one point for creativity there, too. :crazy: :kiss:But no Chapeau yet. There's always a chance someone will come in later than you. Hard to do, I'll give you, but still, a chance.

And its finally time for this:

for Jeanne

birfdaykitty.jpg
Ooooh, my birthday is now complete! My cat, His Highnie the Claude, wishes to meet with Princess Kitteh to discuss the Royal Line so as to ensure more wonderful birthdays for me for years in perpetuity. At least, that's what he said...I wonder if there's a hidden meaning in that...

And now it's time to hand out this week's awards!

Surprising absolutely no one, this week's Chapeau of Shame goes to Haggis.
:e2paperba Wear it well, Dog-Boy.

Our submissions winner with a nice, even 2 is AmyDoodle. Well done, Bajaffe Girl!
:e2cheer::e2cheer::e2cheer:

Our word count winner with an ever-impressive 13,874 is BettieLee. Love your work, babe!
:Jump::Jump::Jump:

This was a tough one, but in my (not so humble) opinion, the winner of this week's special Craigslist Challenge was regdog. Way to work your entire update into a "must have" ad, Heather!
:cool::Trophy::cool:

The winner of the "I GOT AN AGENT" award is Tri! We are SO excited for you, big guy!
:PartySmil:Trophy::PartySmil

And the winner of the "well created baby" award is LostGirl! (I had to give her a prize because a) he's a cutie, and b) I'd never hear the end of the whining if I didn't). Way to procreate, LG!
:fistpump :e2headban :e2photo:

(Yes, some of these awards are not weekly awards. But they're still wicked cool.)

And, to everyone who played, an extra :e2flowers for each and everyone one of you!

Who will win next week's challenge? Will it be...YOU? :e2steer:

OMG, I won something! It's been so long...but...I'm happy to report I just got another, my fourth agent offer on Diane Nine. How sweet it is. Take that, fired agent. And BTW dude, the other book you slamed is doing very well on Amazon, and even that other book you ducked got me my new agent. So there--payback is a mutha.

Happy rant over...

Yes we are. But I prefer to call it the "Fedora of Futility."

Either way I think it's you and me for the rest of the year. The rest of these loosers simply don't know what's good.

We rule :D We have reached a level of lazy mediocrity that lesser mortal can only hope in empty futility to achieve.

must.try.harder.

Yeah. As if you could ever get the hat. :e2tongue:

Yeah, as if :e2tongue:

you know, we can't all rise to your level of mediocrity....

Hey fairy, I'll have you know it takes serious effort to reach this crowning level of mediocrity. Why the last weekend I won the hat, I got a sore thumb flicking the remote.

I would now like to prove my ability to continue to win the hat.

Yesterday, I watched Keeping Up With Kardashians.

I felt my IQ drop at least 50 points. :tongue

Well, I watched the State of the Union speech last night. I'd tell you how much my IQ dropped, but I was too lazy to take the test.

Um...why are you all desperately trying to win the Chapeau of Shame, as opposed to the Dancing Banana of Extreme Alertness or the submissions and/or word count challenge?

I'm just curious as to why y'all want a bag to put over your heads. I mean, in Haggis' case, I totally understand. But the rest of you?

I'm MUCH too pretty to hide my head under a bag.. besides I like watching that banana shake his money maker... so let them fight over the paper bag.. less competition for the hot banana that way... :D

I dunno, there's something about reaching new levels of lazy that is just so, me.

I've just noticed this thread and think it's a good idea. I do a similar thing with a group of friends, but in general terms.

My goal for this weekend this to relaunch my site along with a new Facebook fan page. It's currently on track, just need to mess around with some html/css for my wordpress template.

I also have a goal of writing at least 4 posts a month, one every week. i would like to do more but other obligations (including a day job!) keep me fro getting down all the ideas I have. That's about 2400 words a month (give or take a few hundred) and is one target I've hit for the month.

Hopefully I'll be back to report some progress on a new site.

Walking dead plants, reg. Walking dead plants.

Here, then. Let me or reg do it for you. :evil
