True...there is also JanNoWriMo which seems much more active; unlike NaNo its 50k words period, starting, finishing, or whatever other word count you need

There are several different variations out there, but all seem to have a slighlty different focus.

Oi. Yes, the novel needs finishing, but in a month... ? Too many other projects going on right now. My deadline is April 15th.
