Steampunk Beta needed.

I'm halfway through a steampunk preliminary draft which is a prequel to an already completed preliminary draft.

Some of the earlier chapters are more crafted than later ones so far.

What I'm after is less of a line by line critique (although any line by line stuff would be welcome too) and more of a feedback about the general feel of it, the characters, even aesthetic elements.

About how soon are you looking for feedback, and how much wordcount is "halfway"? For the sort of response you want, I'd be happy to take a look and give some comments, but it'd likely take me a week or two to read and organize said comments. Longer if "halfway" is above around 50k.

I'm not in a huge hurry and it would be no more than 30k words.
