I'm having problems opening and naviagating AW. It can at times take several minutes to open up. Quite often recently the YouTube add never does open completey and sometimes the other adds also. When I go to critique forum, the Youtube add shows up there. Sometimes that add follow me to MSN page. I don't have similar problems with other sites.

I have windows 7 installed and my antivirus says I'm free of virus. Even if I had a virus, why just on AW site?

Has anyone had similar problems? Could it just be win7?

PS- When I cilck save on this post, then hit my back arrow to return to AW menu page, the YouTube add shows up there, blank white, for a few seconds.

Frankly, I suspect that the problem is with your browser; I.E. is sort of awful in that it doesn't follow the standards for the Web.

Are you on dialup?

Thank you. Yes I'm on dialup. Broadband not available for us coyotes.
I'm using MSN. I've used it for 10-12 years now and old habits are hard to break.

MSN and IE8 work hand in glove with each other. I've tried Firefox and Opera but had trouble getting either of them working on Windows 7.

Thing is I have fewer and no problems on other sites. You raise a good point however.

Clear your cache, for starters. A browser can have nightmares from bad memories. srsly. Also, you should always block Flash because it's heck on dialup. Well. it's heck anyway. Blocking Flash automatically takes care of a large percentage of irritating ads.

I don't have win7 and I don't use IE unless something drives me to it, so I can't offer any perfect out-of-the-box solutions for anything.

Do clear your cache. Also, Quit the browser entirely after clearing, and see if that helps.

I note that I.E. has fits with Javascript--not Java, Javascript, and that AW is chock full of it, because of the board controls/buttons.

Were I on dialup, honestly, I'd turn off the Avatars and other images (in sigs, for instance) on AW via my AW CP, and think, hard, about turning off all images via my browser setting.

The videos are a seasonal thing; they'll be gone in less than a week.

I'm sorry for your frustration; I've been there and sympathize.
