What do your MC's do when you're not writing about them?

Mine are always making out, or drinking coffee and reading the paper. Real exciting stuff. I try not to make them wait too long.

Mine probably would find a bar and grab a drink with earl and see if any religious zealots approach him, in which case he'd take them out back, stab them, and cut a piece of their skin off as a souvenir. After which he'd come back inside and earl would laugh and go, "You gots problems man"

Mine works in an office where he has no idea what he's meant to do (neither anyone from his department) so he pretty much plays Solitaire until is closing time. He also likes to drink with his office mates once in a while and watches TV, lots of TV.

Yes, his life is boring. Just hope he doesn't kill himself before I can write it down.

Mine are only figments of my imagination so they're running around in my subconscious coming up with plots that my conscious mind might eventually notice, or they're just decaying from lack of attention.

My FMC is daydreaming about a guy, and my MMC is stewing in his own juices about the fact that he still doesn't know how to switch his body back (body-swapping fun in this one).

And then my MC from my saga (that is on hold right now) is almost always doing something completely unrelated to the current story. Like, she'll be spending hours in a scene in book 7, even though I'm only up to book 2 so far. She's obsessed with the future, the little scamp.
