I'm looking into learning more about setting up and running a website and online forum and was hoping you folks could field a few questions for me:
1) I've been reading about a program called DotNetNuke, which seems to be a toolkit for hapless techno-weenies like me to use in building sites. Can anyone comment on the advantages/disadvantages of this product?
2) I really like what I've seen of vBulletin, both here and on another forum I frequent. I understand it's kind've pricey though, and must be liscensed. How much does it cost to set up/maintain?
3) Can anyone recommend any good books on either of the above programs or the more general topic of learning to build/maintain websites/forums?
