Simultaneous Submission

I'm not sure if I've asked this question before. I apologize if I have. I submitted a short story to an ezine like three or four months ago and I've sent several follow-up emails The problem is I have yet to receive a response from the editor. If I submit this same story to a different magazine or ezine, would it still be considered a simultaneous submission?

Technically, yes. You could always email the original ezine and say you're withdrawing your submission, if the new mag or ezine won't accept simultaneous subs and you think you have a better chance moving on.
