This link might be useful to research locations and the like, including scouting locations.

I just used it to double check the path a car took in St. Petersburg, Russia, to make sure the script was on mark. No matter where you live, "Big Brother" can see you.

Google earth is beautiful.

For some reason, there are incredibly hi-res images just over where I am now, and can even see my car in the car-park.

Ok - I know the photo was taken a year or so ago. But I can were my car WAS parked a couple of years ago. (Unless someone pinched my car space on that day)

There are other's out there, but are they ever expensive. Some even provide images on a daily basis!
