I thought I'd pop on here, say "Hi." I haven't done any message-boarding in a long time. I've got a couple of short stories published in ALBEDO 1, won second place in last year's Aeon Award, and have a couple of novels together, which I'm trying to get published.
I'm curious about good markets for new and aspiring horror writers in particular, with an emphasis on places for novels. Any good places? It feels like the market has dried up a lot over the past few years, although maybe I'm not looking in the right spots.
Also, are publishing houses taking short story collections at all these days?
