okie dokie. If I wanted to post some writing I've done later, can I put some sort of setting on it so only the people I want to can see it? I'm always afriad someone will steal my work.

yep. we're all freaked with the thought that someone will steal our work but the there really is no way to fully protect against theft.

People here are great. I made lots of silly errors and the Mods and Admin sorted me out in nothing flat.I understand completely about the whole paranoia about someone stealing my idea. As someone stated above, we all are. If you go the share your work site. You'll see threads where others discussed it in the past.
Most people here seem really professional, helpful and respectful.
Careful though, if you ask for an honest opinion on your work, be prepared to get one!
