Hi everyone,

I signed up for this site a while ago, but have only now taken the initiative to try and contribute. You can't keep all the fun for yourselves.

I'm nineteen, a sophomore at university. I enjoy writing poetry, but I've recently decided to try at writing a short story. I'm still an amateur, and I know this community will help me improve my writing skills.

I hope to see you all around once I get the hang of this place

I don't contribute much to the poetry forum, but they're a pretty welcoming bunch from what I can tell. Don't be shy, go find a thread you're interested in and join in. Your opinions and ideas are just as welcome as someone's who had been a member for years.

Thanks, everyone; I really do feel more welcome now. I hadn't noticed that forum jump; I kept getting lost while trying to figure out how to get to the different places, so thank you for that!
