Hello!

Hi all!

I decided that I wanted to become more active in talking to other writers and I know this place is a great place to be. I've spent the last few days reading many of the threads in depth, and I have to say it was a good feeling to see other writers talking about writing.

As far as writing/reading interests go, I guess I am mainly a fantasy girl. I sway towards modern-day stories with fantasy elements. Supernatural fantasy is my absolute fave. I love urban fantasy. But like most people I like a story that has multiple elements to it. In particular, I like to have elements of mystery, action, humor, romance, and suspense in my fantasy. Sometimes I dabble in horror and science fiction. Lately, I have been drawn to paranormal romance.

Plot and character are my favorite aspects of writing. My weaknesses are in making prose "pop" and finishing projects.

I've had a few short stories and poems published in small press and I have a book coming out next year with Hadley Rille Books. I'm looking forward to continuing to work on my craft and supporting other writers in the process.

I still have a lot to learn, and I can't wait to meet new people!
