Alright, I sent out an e-query last night, and this morning I got a quick reply back. However... It was blank. I don't know if I should e-mail him back and tell him it was blank, or let it slide and hope I get another reply. Any opinions?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, do. What's the worst-case scenario? You'll get an "R" back with an apology, or a request to see more. Either way it's not as bad as knowing nothing from a blank note.

Another option would be to play with your email reader settings. it could be that the email was sent in a format that your email reader wasnt ready for, so only appears to be blank.

Also, on the off chance its just the font color is the same as the background... drag your mouse over all that blank area and see if it highlights any hidden text... you'd be surprised that this happens sometimes!

If not, and its blank... yep, a polite message saying it came back blank is not out of line!

So now...

Alright, thanks guys! Now the only question is how do I tell him without sounding like I think he goofed up and sounding like a jerk?

Dear Ms Agent,

thankyou for your prompt reply to my email sent dd/mm/yy. Unfortunately I am unable to read the contents of your email; it appears on my screen as a blank page.
Could you please resend your reply?

Many thanks
You

Easy-peasy. Don't worry too much, you wont sound like you're accusing him/her of being a techno-moron. :)
