Not. But I so wish I was.

Hi, I'm new. I got referred here from a Twitter chat when I commented on how hard it is to find true writing partners/buddies anywhere and I was directed here.

This place looks pretty awesome! I just hope I don't get lost or overwhelmed by the sheer size of it all.

So, about me. My name is Amber J. Gardner. I've been writing since High School, and making up stories since the Muppet Babies was new on T.V.

I write sci-fi and fantasy stories, also YA in those genres. My first completed novel is something I wrote last year in NaNoWriMo 2008. I'm also doing this year's NaNo, but I'm seriously behind.

I have issues keeping myself focused on finishing things and rewriting/editing. But if I just learned to just finish the damn story and polish it, I know I can get published one day. So far only rejections, but I know I haven't sent my best out yet. Thus, I am here to look for help as well as give whatever I can.

So yep. That's me. Hi ^_^.

Uncle Jim talks about being disciplined about writing; setting aside time whether you feel like it or not. I am struggling with that myself, but working on making it a part of my routine.
