I loved her "Driving with parents" skit too ... spitting and lisping around her braces. She's like some sort of hyper-juiced squirrel run amok, beautiful but unassuming and able to laugh at her own image. Writes all those wonderful cute, sweet, little-girls-love-her songs.

The skit where she was trying to be the tough as nails "scared straight" inmate was either just bad casting or absurdist genius and loveable over-acting ...

I've seen far "greater" actors flop and fail on SNL ... Taylor Swift just seemed to throw herself into it without a single self-conscious thought, and what wasn't brilliant acting (well, ok, no, but at least she tries about ten facial expressions for every line) was endearing horseplay.
