Password Forgotten Document Retrieval

Hi there,

If a document is password protected, and the password to retrieve the document is forgotten, how does one go about retrieving it? Is it possible?

It is possible. You might try this first. The process takes time, especially if your computer is not too full of pep. Paying for a password recovery tool is no guarantee, so always try the free ones first. Be careful if you search for others -- there will be a lot of sponsored links (paid search ads) and some of them could be booby-trapped.

Google 'password cracker' - and check what people have to say about each piece of software before you download anything. Don't even think about anything on the torrent scene, as they're nearly all filled with viruses.
