Lori has convinced me that I should try my hand at romance-writing, so for NaNoWriMo I'm going to give it a whirl. It looks like a lot of fun. I just wanted to say I am joining your ranks...for one month at least. :D

I've come up with a really fun idea for my romance, a hero and heroine whom I adore, and I am so excited to get started!

I am still undecided on what to write for NaNo. I have two fantasies and a few romance ideas floating in my head (and notes on paper). I have only written fantasy though, most with romantic elements. And lately I have been itching to write a straight romance, but I don't know where to begin. I wonder if it would be too hard to write one for NaNo.

I was going to do NaNo this year, but I have 80K to edit with a 12/5 deadline. Major. I won't have time, drat it. I'll just have to NaNo vicariously through the rest of you.

HEY! Just because *I* write that doesn't mean Libbie will. She might be writing a completely sensible...*snerk*...mature...*snicker*...

Okay, I give up. Yeah, I brought her into this, so it'll probably be dirty. If it isn't, Libbie, I'm going to be very disappointed.

Writing romance can be fun -- think of all the naughty scenes you get to write, not to mention the happy ending. ;)

Sorry to disappoint, Lori, but I don't PLAN on having a large amount of smexyboingboing. But you never know what will happen. I didn't plan on having ANY smexyboingboing in the Egyptian novel you beta read, and we know how that turned out....

She (interrupting): In your dreams, muffin. No, Radio Person, I'm going to stay as far away from this one as I can. This guy has trouble written all over...

He (interrupting): She hasn't written that part yet. I already know you want me, but jeez, be patient!

She: I'm outta here.

Radio Person: So you aren't interested in Twuue Lurrrve, She?

She: Well, since you mention it...

Radio Person (interrupting): There you have it, folks! Straight from the source. We can't wait to see how Libbie will get boingboing out of these reluctant lovers...Tune in again after NaNo is done. We promise it'll be, um, FULFILLING!

(Radio Person doffs his hat to Lori for the idea)

Well, I had to deal with some CRAZY PEOPLE at work so I've been distracted through the start of NaNo, but this morning I'm up early and am ready to make up for lost time!
