Nobody ever died in the A-Team, not event he bad guys. Their helicopter slammed into a cliff and blew up? Next shoot they're all gettin up from the wreckage, groaning. And hundreds of bullets flew each week, and NO ONE was ever hurt.
I'm actually very curious to see how they handle this in the film. In the series, the A-Team was a group of fugitives, but they weren't murderers or mercenaries. They did jobs to help folks and make enough money to eat (and afford Face's stylish wardrobe) and stay ahead of the Army.
They were heroes. They stopped the bad guy, but didn't kill him. Was it unrealistic at times? Sure, especially when cars blew up and people crawled out (but don't discount broken ribs and internal bleeding!). They didn't aim their guns at people, so obviously they weren't going to shoot them.
If the A-Team had killed someone (or several someones) during one of their jobs, not only would they be killers to the Army, they'd be killers to local law enforcement, and the folks who hired them would be culpable.
