Issues people, I've got issues!

I am getting confused and yes, I am still taking my meds thank you for asking. It's about the Memoir Times threads.

Issue one: I like the clean layout of thread that so far has only the mini memoirs on it. I think Jerry and Sommemi are the only two so far. There are no comments just the articles. This is clean, easy to read and very accessible.

Issue two: I also like the thread that has the mini memoir and follow up comments. I think the supportive nature of it is quite valuable to all of us. I would like to see that continued.

Issue three: I want to comment on Sommemi's last entry on the Memoir Times thread but that one is on the "clean" thread version and not on the comment version. I don't want to mess up the clean version.

Question: is there a way we can stick the two threads together so that we have a clean version of the mini memoirs and a commented version? I really think Sommemi was onto something with the idea of a running thread with just the mini memoirs but I also think we might all like to make comments as well. Is it to much to ask for our mini memoirists to do a double posting or is there another way to do this?
Does anyone else care or is this just me being a pain in the behind? hehe

PS. I am also starting to see the two threads drifting away from one another. We need stickies!

Oh, I am so glad you guys looked at this. I like the comments very much also. I also like the idea of the clean layout with uninterrupted posts. What we are doing here is a lot like the share your work board but a little different I think because it is more of weekly challenge specifically for the memoir section. My understanding was that we actually wanted to different types of things here. One was a collection of mini memoirs that belonged to this forum. The other was that we want to support and encourage one another in this genre of writing. Threads on this site can quickly go astray with comments and replies so I am concerned that we will end up sacrificing one of the above goals over the other.

Since I don't know what program this website is built with I can't imagine how you might link the two types of threads in simple manner. Hmm...
I suppose you could include a link to the comment sticky at the end of your memoir entry. Or maybe that comment sticky link could be included in the thread title?
Just some non geek ponderings and I admittedly very confused and perhaps making mole hills out of mountains. (Yes, I intended to say it that way)
