YA novel with the protag as a journalist

I'm looking for YA novels with a main character who works for his school newspaper, preferable with a plot that centers on that or is at least a big part of the story.

Just trying to read more novels related to what I'm writing/plotting, and I mainly want to make sure the school newspaper stuff isn't overdone.

I think bethany is referring to Pants on Fire which I actually did read but don't remember lol... But yeah, the MC was on the school newspaper and there was a scandal or something.

Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie by David Lubar <---- one of my favorite contemporary YAs. The MC is a freshman boy who works for his school newspaper. The book is full of his articles, journal entries, and letters to his as-yet unborn brother. It's hilarious and moving and just plain fantastic.

The Geek Girl's Guide to Cheerleading has the main character who works on the school newspaper. It's not the BIGGEST part of the story, but it's definitely there. (I think I'm remembering the right book at least...)
