I would love to find a Beta Reader interested in MG fantasy.
It's a Lemony Snicket meets The DaVinci Code concept. Villain is trying to get magical amulet from timid 10 year old orphan watched over by two nuns. Her mother disappeared five years ago, body never found, can't cross over unless they find the body. The amulet allows the child to communicate with her mother and she can find out where the body is and set her spirit free. However, the villain is trying to get it from her before she finds out.
A little tension, a little humor, a little sorrow.
I would prefer to do it one chapter at a time, unless you have a different preference.
