Deadly Little Secrets by Laurie Faria Stolarz is a pretty creepy mystery book.

I read it over a decade ago, but I remember "Tenderness" by Robert Cormier had a really mysterious and creepy feel to it.

Tim Wynne-Jones-- the Uninvited. YA thriller, not supernatural, and just nominated for the Governor General's Literary Awards.

Geraldine McCaughrean-- the White Darkness. Brilliant and unputdownable.
