Keep getting this message on screen:
"Diskeeper has detected that CHKDSK is scheduled to run on the volume ;New volume(c;)
This is due to either a user request or because the opertating system has found errors in the file system. CHKDSK will run automatically during the next system reboot until CHKDSK is run Diskeeper cannot degrag this volume"

Okay, what does it mean?
Somebody has told me not to turn off my pc. Pretty useless in the long term and especially useless since an electrician is supposed to be arriving any minute to do some work ...

I do normal defrags nearly every day but this is the first time this message has ever appeared on screen and is now lurking near the bottom ....

Frightened to death to turn the pc off in case I can never get back in again.

It's perfectly normal, needs to be done sometimes, and helps keep worse things from happening. Obviously you don't reboot often enough ;) (No, seriously, in case anyone is wondering, sleep/standby/hibernation is not a good thing in the long run.)
