A friend of mine from within the internet has embarked on his second annual Month of Horror reading project and I thought I'd do him some secret publicity. The first was great and it's shaping up well again at the moment. His objective is to read several horror shorts per day, as well as a number of novels, posting his thoughts daily throughout October.
His blog is called The Kind of Face You Hate, and the project is The Kind of Face You Slash!!! (complete with those unnecessary exclamation points, but you should forgive him them). The most recent post was on the subject of Jack the Ripper, but he strives for variety and it really does make for a fascinating month's read.
The current archive can be found here, and to read through last year's efforts click here instead - both appear in reverse order, but you can't have everything. I highly recommend them - even if you disagree with his opinions, you won't be starved for entertainment. The most important thing is, even if he doesn't like the stories in question, he never stops loving horror...
