Hello sci-fi fans, I have a dozen books from my publisher that came back with a printing error. The book is still perfectly readable, but not "fit for resale." All the left-facing pages have text that isn't quite as crisp as right-facing pages.

Yeah, bizarre. Well, the publisher was going to pulp them, but I am one of those people that try to re-purpose everything. So, I'm giving them away to readers that are interested in a good story, and would be willing to review the book on Amazon if they enjoy it.

Not a bad deal, right? Free book, I come out-of-pocket for the shipping, and all you have to do is tell other people about the book if you like it.

So, what's the book about? It's the story of Molly Fyde, a young orphan living in the 25th century and struggling to find herself. Constantly told what she can and can't do because of her age and/or gender, she feels full of potential but devoid of opportunity.

All that changes when her father's derelict spaceship is discovered on the other side of the galaxy. Racing off to retrieve it, Molly begins a quest to reconnect with her past -- but what she discovers is a secret shrouded in mystery -- something that will affect the future of the entire galaxy.

If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, send me a PM.

(If giving away my book violates a rule of self-promotion, please feel free to Moderate this thread as needed. No harm meant, just trying to spread the love and recycle at the same time!)

Thanks for the quick replies, everyone! I've had seven responses so far -- still three more to go.

Please keep in touch as you read, and feel free to let me know what I can improve upon.

The second book? No, I've only played around with one version of it so far. Needs a lot of typography work. I wish AW had a subforum for covers, cover art, discussions, input, etc... I think they're such a huge part of the reading experience.

Feel free to PM me or post here as you get your books and have initial impressions, questions, or thoughts.

Also: I'm now out of the flawed books, so thanks for everyone's responses and eagerness to give my book a read. I appreciate it and I hope you enjoy!
