Deb - I'm with CallaLily - sometimes we have to jump through hoops to reach our goals, and yes, the market analysis is sometimes required.
Annie - there are plenty of others who
DO endorse Ginny's classes.

The fact that she's just signed her 12th contract in four years proves that she knows what she's doing, so who better to learn from?
When I founded WIES Workshops, I too wondered why I was doing it. I knew I would get reactions such as yours, Annie, asking what my credentials were. But God led me into it, and like Moses, I agreed to follow and obey.
Along the way, I've discovered several of the reasons He called me to this position:
1) I'm a coordinating freak! I love the work, and I'm good at it.
2) My background. As an editor, I KNOW what skills writers are lacking, and we've created our classes so writers can learn and improve those skills.
3) My experiences. I have taken DOZENS of online courses for writing and for editing - some have been good, and some have been bad, and I've learned to know the difference. We offer good quality courses through WIES, and I won't settle for anything less.
4) My passion. I CARE that writers excel. I WANT them to reach their publication goals, and WIES Workshops is yet another way for us to help that happen.
5) I'm very aware of tight budgets, because I live on one myself. I have also become a hermit over the last few years. Online courses are an awesome and affordable alternative to conferences. Our small class size gives the student one-on-one instruction in the areas they need, and offers networking opportunities with the instructor and with the other students, without the huge expenses usually associated with conferences. (And you can work in your jammies!

)
All of our instructors are multi-published and/or award-winning and/or best-selling authors who know the ropes. Yes, I am a Christian, and yes, the business is set up to help anyone interested in writing for the Christian market. But many/most of the skills being taught can be utilized by writers for the general market as well.
