I've been doing a little reading on the web lately. I was hoping to find some info on when the spec script business may pick up again, but I can't find anything. So I'm wondering if any of you bright individuals may have heard any news. Obviously it depends a lot on the financial crisis, but the movie biz hasn't been doing horrible since then. That being said, the turn around could happen before the end of 'The Great Depression II' (New script idea?) Hopefully someone has some insight. Thanks!

I don't have all the answers, but it appears that studios and channels buy material that is cheap to produce, so if you're trying to sell a hard to make space opera or a post-apocalyptic horror series, you'll probably find it hard to get a sale. This is the time to bring out the easy to produce material.
