Many of the central characters are young adults, but there are also two adult main characters, and since it's written in third person omniscient past tense, each main character is part of the story - the two adults included - and are given equal exploration. Because all of these people know each other through a college-age female, does it automatically make the story YA?

Personally, I don't think so because everyone in my WIP is "coming-of-age" so to speak. It's a defining year for every character- even the older characters.

probably not.
college age isn't really YA -- it's an underrepresented gray area.

Typically YA cuts off at 18. Sometimes you see college age protagonists, but not often. Given that two of your other characters are adults and it seems like they share screen time, I would not think it was YA.

Are you Writing Young Adult Fiction?

The YA fiction genre is typically centered around teenagers (usually older teens). Young Adult can also mean college age because 19-22 is thought of as a young adult. Adult characters in the story as co-central characters (mature/wiser viewpoints) have been included in previous and popular YA fiction. Also, genre can be considered for more than one category, such as YA/teen or Literary. Depends on who the reader is and what stories the enjoy. The Coming of Age theme is found in many YA novels, even if an adult character has to learn about life along with the teen.
