I'm glad this show lived up to its expectations. I thought the pilot was a bit rocky in places, like they could have spent more time figuring out the phenomenon. It seemed minutes after it happened the news was claiming "everyone in the planet blacked out" and then in the FBI office they all seemed a too quick to accept the visions were of the future.
I know they needed to just get it all out of the way for the real story to start, but I'm glad they stepped it up later in the end by a) kickstarting the visions becoming real and b) the waking man at the stadium in Detroit.
Plus it's got a great cast ... I was surprised to see Seth MacFarlane.
It should be able to fill the LOST void for awhile, especially when Dominic Monaghan finally shows up.
