OK, I'm watching the first episode of Eastwick with my wife. I like the brunette, but the show strikes me as mostly wish fulfillment. Then again, I'd like it better if it were on cable to provide better fan service. :) Also, it looks like the producers also watched Practical Magic in addition to The Witches of Eastwick.

Is anybody else watching this? Looks like the cute brunette, Johanna, just let her hair down and learned how to do Jedi mind tricks.

I watched it and liked it okay. An actor I know is going to be on it in a couple weeks and it's his first TV debut I'm pretty sure. So I'm at least going to hold out until then to show my support.

I loved the movie - but the show was a little boring to me. However, I will give it a shot to the end of its season.

It's at the bottom of my Hulu playlist... the "Sex and the City set in Salem" advert pitch didn't quite compel me, but I'm willing to give it a go.

I didn't watch the show, but I thought the same thing when I saw the previews for it.

I watched it, and wasn't impressed at all. I won't be watching it next week.

They really need to retire that idea. They will never find the 'next Sex and the City.' Get over it, networks.

I DVR'd it and lasted 3 minutes before erasing it.

Cher, Michelle and Susan did it better.

Hell, Sandra and Nicole did it better.

It seems to be a setup based on the movie so I'm suffering from a lot of deja vu. I love Paul Gross so I'll wait to see if the plot develops further than the original movie.

Loved.... LOVED Practical Magic. I have the DVD and watch it over and over.

Well, I watched the first two episodes last night. I wouldn't say that I am hooked, since the predictability is a bit overwhelming, but I will be tuning in for a few more episodes. It's got a good looking cast, and the show has a nice Charmed-Gilmore Girls-Practical Magic kind of feel to it, only the girl-power vibe isn't so annoying. Also, Paul Gross is hot.
