Hi all,
I spend about 80 minutes on the bus on weekdays travelling to university and I thought it would be useful to use that time to write. People don't talk much and it's actually a pleasant writing environment once you start ignoring the bus' engine.
But, the roads in this area are not exactly smooth and the bus shudders and shakes like hell on the way. I'm convinced that it does at least three 360 degree turns before it reaches the intended destination. Because of this, I'm worried that my laptop's hard disk may suffer damage. When the computer's off, I don't suppose anything could happen, but with the hard disk up and spinning, is there any chance that the motion of the bus might cause hard disk damage?
Thanks in advance.
