Bram Stoker Festival

Anyone else going to Whitby for the Horror fest? Bram Stoker Festival, 16-20 October. Ingrid Pitt and Bram Stoker's great-grandson are among the guests, and a mystery "star of over 50 horror films" (my guess is on Christopher Lee, but any other speculation?) I can't be the only Brit around here, right?

Oh my goth!

What I would give to be able to attend! I can see myself decked out in full Victorian garb with a dash of hip hop swagger,mingling with beautifully dressed and like minded folk.

I'm not currently planning to go to World Horror, but I have family in Brighton so it would be doable. Running out of days off work for this year though!

Thought I'd resurrect the old thread rather than start a new one. Anyone coming to the Bram Stoker festival this year? Hammer Horror is hosting an exhibition, Ingrid Pitt is going to have another go at guest starring (she had pneumonia last year) and there's some great looking guest stars. Film list isn't up yet, though I'm hoping they'll be as good as last year's. I'm definitely going again; it was so much fun last year!

Same as last year, I've done an overall review post and a film review post.

If I could I'd book next year's ticket now. Hell, I might find a way to do some readings next year! I completely hadn't clocked what an opprtunity for networking it was, but I've ordered some business cards a little belatedly.
