*sigh* I woke up this morning to learn my latest release is already on a pirating site. So the string of "takedown" letters begins...
On the upside, at least someone wants to read my book, even if they're going about it illegally.

My experience with venison is limited to chicken-fried deer steak (blech) and deer jerky (...oddly addictive).

Mmm, deer jerky sounds good.

I still have to make hamburgers and bake a loin with my grandmother.

And if reading about food isn't making you hungry enough, I have granola bars in the oven and plans for other baked goods...

I'm not trying to trap it.

It's already done it's job... and unlike Fen, I have no desire to have to skin and gut my food.

Besides, I can't imagine there's much meat on a smibble.

I went out to a wine bar this afternoon to be a supportive spouse--they were having open turntables this afternoon for amateur djs to spin records. I ate fancy cheese and stared off into space plotting while my sweetie played P-Funk and Bootsy. And now--off to write!

So, today, my 1 year old cousin was baptized, so had to wake up early and assist to mass and stay after and wait since there was another family in front of us, but at least the priest was entertaining (in the good way). We had a great lunch at a grill restaurant and got drunk on sangría, slept for 5 or 6 hours and woke up and was faced to a college paper I had to finish.

Now I was faced to a question every writer has faced. Work on your paper or work on your actual work? And I chose the WIP, if you excuse me, I need to continue comparing fonts.

I chose it was easier to stay up all night than to half-sleep and go. 3 hours for my presentation and 5 hours until I am allowed to sleep.

This morning on the way to work I wrote for a while and then decided I needed to write a short story where instead of the good guy facing off against the bad guy, the contents of two novels of different genre faced off against each other. Also there would be sparkly vampires.
