zomg it's Friday.
But I'm going in to work this weekend. And studying for exams. And doing massive homework piles.

A monk is gathering herbs in the forest and comes across a trail of mysterious mushrooms. He follows them and finds what his religion and his God have told him where expunged from the earth in the last holy war: a gathering of forest creatures, clearly with the gift of reason, holding council. Probably picking the forest's version of a "hall monitor" or some such thing.
Or you could have him eat the mushrooms, and silliness ensues.

It's the weekend. Time to get stuck in with my WIP, which is being written on (attempted) Nano principles - see my sig for progress.
But...
I need to do some shopping tomorrow, or else I'll be eating takeaways all weekend.
I want to see Up this weekend.
I have DVD reviews to do, two in particular as they are released on Monday.
And Fenika's novel to continue to beta (you have mail, F) especially as I have Broadswordbabe's latest to beta in time for its workshop on 8 November.
Not to mention the Synth Britannia series which starts on BBC4 tonight, which looks interesting. And Have I Got News for You is back. And the 1963 film The Damned is on again, and I haven't seen it before. Not to mention Saw and Saw II...
I hope to be fully occupied!
But...

But just look at all that stuff on your to-do list. I'm sitting here in the office eating poptarts and trying to remember the location of all three of the warp whistles in super mario 3, and pondering whether, given a sufficient amount of beer, I can finally beat the last level of Gauntlet.
In other news, I have GOT to stop starting a new WIP every time I read an interesting wikipedia article. Darn you wikipedia! Darn you to heck!

I am so tired. I am so tired I could put my head down and go to sleep in this hot, uncomfortable office.
I am going home and going to bed. I shall rise whenever the hell I feel like rising and edit, but nap is #1 on the agenda, come hell, high water, or the wrath of the Warlock Dolvici. Guy's a pain the ass anyway.

Let's see, it was the "LGBT themes in Hindu mythology" article. Kind of random but I've been really into different mythologies lately, hindu and hawaiian and polynesian particularly. Anyways, it was really interesting. I smell new WIP!
