Me too, August 31! And CQ a couple of weeks before me. Nice to have such company. :)

P.S. I'm also pretty sure that "Men's Showers" by Nic Dris (Sept 3) is one that was workshopped here in the crit forum, though I forget the poet's nom here.

Just a small note about EDP (and EDF) - I recently had a collection accepted to be published and wanted to include one of the poems EDP had published. I was told that I could not because per the contract they own the rights to the poem for 2 years for any type of print collection - personal or anthology.

They did work with me so that I could include one of the poems but they updated the contract going forward to make it more clear that you can not use any poem published at EDP for a chapbook for two years after they publish it.

For me, I am trying to get my work published so I have decided to stop sending in work to EDP. I wanted to share this info in case anyone here submitting there plans on getting a collection or chapbook published you are aware that you might have a hard time with using any poem EDP has claimed rights to.

With that being said, I want to be sure to make it clear I think EDP is a great ezine, I think Oonah is a wonderful person and editor. They put out a quality publication and I check in and read almost daily.

From a writers POV, I just wanted to share what I found out with you all so you don't get trapped if you have any intentions of having your work published in a chapbook any time soon.

Hey Polenth, they had some mistakes in an older version and worked with me to allow me to include a poem in an upcoming chapbook. I agree, everyone should read the details of a contract closely, this was the first time I had ever heard anyone defining anthology to include a personal chapbook, traditionally it is specific to more of a "best of the year" type of thing not anything with ISBN - Just wanted to share the info in case anyone runs into the same thing.

And again, EDP is great and they were very help in working with me - just wanted to give every one a heads up on it. 18 months is a long time to hold all rights to a poem for one dollar -
