Hi there everybody,

I need help. I can't remember the name of the original "Book of Spells." If anybody has seen Batman, Arkham Asylum was taken from this book. If anybody can give me the name I'd be most grateful. (picture bowing person here.)

"Arkham Asylum" comes from the fictional town of Arkham, created by the American horror writer HP Lovecraft. Since Lovecraft also created a fictional grimoire called "The Necronomicon," perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

If you're looking for a more general term, try "grimore".

Thanks, TS. I was trying to remember the correct spelling and Word tends not to like that one.

Most spell books now are referred to as "A book of Shadows" at least if you're Wiccan.
