I never had a muse before that I could call and talk to but I met this guy and he's got my brain turning! The funny thing is I've never told him a single thing about any of my writing and off goes my brain! I swear creativity comes from the strangest places sometimes!

I wanna be a muse. Anyone want a very large muse with a dry sense of humor? I'll only drink the cheap wine . . . and maybe the bourbon.

tt42 is my muse, and I are hers. :D
Fancy. Someone I've never met! I dread to think what would happen to my mojo if/when that happened. I'd either go ballistic with productivity, or cease writing forever.
Julie, when it comes to Scarlett, you're perhaps better off not knowing... ;)

Muse? You mean when you take DMT and talk to iguana men/God with Joe Rogan and the truth about life is revealed to you? No. I never had one of those.
Truthfully, my muse is my misery, I fear. Sadness has harbored my most intense writing. But I am happy and still I will write, so you people will have to put up with me a while longer.

My muse inspires me to be a better writer. He challenges me to think and stretch and grow, and in doing so, exceed all my old boundaries.

I found a new muse...
But on the advice of my attorney, I'm not talking about it.

Nope. I don't have one either.
I've had to change my plea guv, as a friend of mine has pointed out that I do have a muse and she's right. My muse is Jean Reno and I should give him credit where credit's due. He gives me the inspiration to write because I was sick and tired of seeing him in film roles that I thought were beneath him, so I began writing the kinds of stories that I would like to see him star in if they were actual films.
Thank you friend, you know who you are. :Hug2:

i also make you drink Fresca while you write to keep you hydrated. don't forget that too.
Am I the only one who doesn't have a muse?
I don't think I do. I listen to music while I write and anytime I'm writing a death scene I like listening to The Space Between and Not As We repeatedly.
I wouldn't say they're muses.
I also like Pepsi Max. Hmm.

I saw a muse once in Algonquin Park. Funny looking creatures, they are, all long legs and weird-ass antlers. It didn't help my writing, though.

i saw one at the mouth of the park just last month.
Oh, a tough muse. That's just what I need. Caro, you want to exchange tough muse services?

My muse is my best friend of seven years. He has zero good ideas and by bashing them...I find good ones. It's a strange relationship. =)
