I saw LoTR at Wolf Trap w/the live music. It was amazing (the performers were brilliant). I remember it being very cold though!

...cause sometimes you just need a slap on the hea
Dude. *is jealous*

I'm sure there are still lawn seat tickets available. And while Jason and I are gonna go up Friday and hit DC that night and Saturday AM (since I have to come back Saturday night), I'm sure Matt and Julia wouldn't mind a house guest Saturday night after. I think Mike is coming and maybe Andy.

I went to a performance of the Fellowship of The Ring with live music at the Royal Albert Hall. It was totally awesome. The musicians and choirs worked so very hard for nearly three hours. At first I couldn't understand why there were subtitles on the screen then realized that the music was so loud it was not always possible to hear what was being said.

It was also very emotional. My sister and I were in tears at times.

Howard Shore gave a talk before the performance about how some of the sounds were invented!

Go to a performance if you can.
