I'm Icelandic, and the banking collapse has complicated my attempts at getting my fantasy novels published. A local publisher has shown great interest in and support of my work, but says he simply doesn't know when he'll be able to take on a non-sure bet with things the way they are.
I've failed time and again to get an English-speaking agent on my side, and since my father lives in Norway and might act as a go-between and translator for me, it occurred to me to try a different language.
So . . . any recommendations or English-language websites I can check out for information on the Norwegian publishing industry?
