Two good SF books I've read lately:

Alfred Bester: The Stars My Destination, and The Demolished Man.

Here are two that *almost* meet your criteria. Only thing is that there is some mild BSDM in both, but it wasn't the major theme of the books or anything.

Denise Rossetti has a fantasy series (not dark or urban) that I've read the first two books in:

The first book in the series is "Gift of the Goddess" is MFM and deals with a priest and his friend trying to appease an angry goddess whose caused the birthrate for their people to fall to zero.

The second is "TailSpin", also MFM, in which the two guys are members of the Aetheri, a winged race.

There is a third book in the series a M/M called "Strongman", but I haven't read it yet.

I liked both of these books quite a bit, though I did gripe on this board at one point about the fake swear words used in the second title. The only other thing I'd say is that, as I read them back to back, some of the sex scenes seemed similar from one book to the next.

Venom's Bond by Nica Berry from Loose Id. M/M lizard alien with human refugee. That should fit your bill, I think. Parts are a little dark, though, dealing with the female doctors that keep the men for reproductive purposes.

Robin L. Rotham has two books in a series you might enjoy. The first is Alien Overnight and the second is Enemy Overnight. I read the first one and enjoyed the premise. A neat twist on DP. I just noticed the second had an advisory about f/f. Otherwise it's m/f/m.

I also enjoy Kim Knox. Almost all of her work is sci fi/futuristic. Her latest, Demonic Attraction was m/f/m and very spicy. You can sort through the rest of her blacklist here.

You'd enjoy a shopping trip over to Changeling Press. They've got what you're looking for. Not saying that because I'm pubbed there...my books wouldn't fit what you're looking for. But truly, they've got good stuff along the lines you want. Give them a shot.
