Having been force fed those Little House books as a child, and growing up near enough to the Wilder farm, to have all things Laura Ingalls Wilder glorified by my school teachers, I really enjoyed the article.

I was familiar with some of this. But not all of it.

I bet my local library has those old Missouri Ruralists in their archive. I might have to check that out.
