That was amusing. I feel like a couple offences are more forgiveable than others. For example, even the best of authors will let the occasional typo slip through. And some agents' names make it easy to get the gender confused (especially if they only post minimal personal information).

But I hope that most of us know better than to cite family members as reliable critics or blatantly ignore submission guidelines.
