My son was using my cell phone the other day, on perpetual hold with our insurance company. He told me I had missed a call, from an out-of-state phone number. I checked the area code, and it was from the same state as the agent I'm trying to get for my first book. I happen to know that this agent e-mails if they're rejecting you, and CALLS if they're accepting you.
Needless to say, my pulse rate went way up as I disconnected from the insurance company and called the number back.
It wasn't the agent.
It was an appointment reminder service.
