Alright, it is very hard work to get your poems read by others. Not only does it take courage to send it out and put yourself on the line but the competition is tough to get accepted. If you get your work out there no matter the venue, post here so that your fellow poets can go and read your work! Don't be ashamed to brag!

Four so far this year - I feel pretty good about that since I didn't start sending stuff out until 2009 (or late 2008?) and I haven't been all that diligent about sending stuff out. Expatlit.com, Amaze Cinquain, and two not yet up at Every Day Poets.

I'd really like to get something speculative published this year.

And l have rejections from lots of great places! :p

Just to let everyone know that my first Chapbook, "A Mixed Bag: Haiku, Senryu, and Aphorisms" is out and available at www.ShadowPoetry.com at a cost of $10. (just go to the BookStore there). For those who just want to give it a look-see, there are exerpts available for 6 of the Haiku and 1 Senryu. They've done a great job on this and I'm extremely proud of it.

It's admittedly Vanity Publication but I have hope of improving that situation by entering it into the Haiku Society of America's "Best Book of 2009 Contest".

I think you'll find it worth a look.
